The Unexamined Life Is Not Worth Living – Socrates
Been and Gone
Well, we have made it back in one piece, albeit not without drama, some major some minor. We left on my birthday, Feb 20th and returned on March 13th. “Where this time?” I hear you cry. Well, once again it was with great anticipation and excitement that we went back to Australia. This time however, it was on the tentative notion that it would be the last time. With that in mind, we went searching for work and advice on the migration process that in the end yielded some encouraging answers. Indeed, the work scene out there is pretty good, lots of jobs and not enough skilled people to do them. Also, there are many a story of people who have picked up and moved there with far less ideal circumstances than ours. So from the “migrating to Australia” perspective things went pretty well.
Not so much on the “try to stay alive while swimming” perspective, but more on that later…
