About The Author

Nicole and I were married in 2007 and in June of 2010 welcomed a baby Elyse into the world. It’s true what they say, having kids is the greatest thing you can do but it will change you and your life forever. I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

I am a Network Engineer by trade and recently became a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)

I am British born from York, England and have been in Canada since 1986 and yes, I am a Canadian Citizen.

I love football (Liverpool of course) and Formula 1 racing. I am a fitness enthusiast and as such am a Certified Personal Trainer and NCCP Certified Gymnastics Coach.

Much of what you will read here will revolve around my health and fitness, either my weight, my bad back (I had surgery in 2002) or whatever workout regimen I am following at the time.

Hopefully this will serve as an interesting documentation experiment about my transition into fatherhood. Maybe you will be entertained, maybe you will be amazed but hopefully you (and I) won’t get bored.

I don’t post here that often, mostly because I maintain a fitness blog over at SOMETHING TO PROVE where I document my day to day activities.

We are starting a little webshop and we want to use the name happybasterd for it. My questions is if you maybe want to sell happybasterd.com?

    Kind regards Jen
